Reservation Cancellation Policy

Any reservation made without insurance is completely non-refundable. No exceptions.

If you did not purchase the travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation you are still responsible for the full amount of your reservation plus the $75 per person cancellation fee.

If you purchased the travel insurance and have to cancel you will be refunded the amount according to the travel insurance guidelines minus the cost of the insurance.

Once a reservation is booked there is a $75 per person cancellation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancellation. This cancellation fee also applies to all cancellations that result in a re-booking.

Any changes made to your booking after the balance due date will be subject to a $25 per person change fee. Any changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed.

Travel Insurance Rates

During the ongoing pandemic, we strongly suggest that all travelers purchase travel protection insurance. Travel Insurance is not included in the room rates listed above.

The Insurance offered is from a 3rd party and is not part of Wright Travel Agency.

• IMPORTANT: This comprehensive travel protection plan provides the enrolled client with three different refund options minus the costs of the insurance – 1) Travel Credit, 2) Cash Refund (original form of payment). Pricing ranges from $49.99 to $275.00 per person depending on the costs of your package.

Airfare. You are responsible for reserving your own flights. But if you would like assistance from MarieSam on booking flights, just let her know. 

Trip Insurance: We highly recommend getting insurance but you have the option to accept or decline when filling out the room reservation form. Please note, any reservation made without travel protection insurance is non-refundable.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT -- Please note that valid passports are necessary for all travelers and all existing passports must be good for 6 months after returning from international travel per current U.S. regulations. The earlier you get your passport the cheaper it is. We encourage you to secure your passport ASAP because turnaround times for passport renewals and applications can be lengthy. FLIGHTS
The closest airport to our resort is La Romana International Airport (LRM) -- it is only a 20-minute drive from Dreams. However, Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) typically has the best airfare rates and it is 55-minute drive from Dreams. With all room reservations made through our room block, airport shuttle transfers to and from Punta Cana Airport are included -- but shuttle transfers from other airports can be quoted upon your request. 

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
We have reserved a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at Dreams Dominicus La Romana, an all-inclusive family resort in the Dominican Republic. Our travel coordinator, MarieSam, will be your go-to for booking a room.

**We kindly ask that you DO NOT book rooms directly through the hotel or on an online travel websites as they will be more expensive for you BUT also because your reservation made through the group block will help secure special amenities and perks for our group.** Also, please note that guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding celebration. If you are not staying at Dreams, you will be required to pay a per person visitor's fee to attend our wedding ceremony and reception.
